FAQ

What is fractional Learning & Enablement (L&E)?

Fractional L&E means accessing senior-level training and enablement expertise without the cost of a full-time team. Instead of hiring one person, you gain a plug-in partner who builds scalable, science-backed systems that grow with your business.

What types of companies benefit most from fractional L&E?

Fast-growing companies, businesses in transition, and teams under pressure. Whether your internal team is stretched too thin, or leadership wants to scale learning without adding headcount, fractional L&E provides the capacity and expertise you need, when you need it.

When should a company consider fractional instead of hiring full-time?

When you need senior-level strategy but don’t want the overhead of a full-time hire. Fractional is ideal for:

  • Rapid growth periods

  • Budget-conscious environments

  • Times of organizational change

  • Piloting or scaling new programs without long-term commitments

How is a fractional partner different from a consultant or contractor?

Consultants and contractors often deliver one-off projects. A fractional partner embeds with your team on an ongoing basis, where we align to strategy, adapt as priorities shift, and ensure continuity. We don’t just deliver and leave; we build sustainable systems that last.

What services can a fractional L&D team provide?

At Now Get Real, we focus on system architecture and enablement strategy. That includes:

  • Onboarding design and optimization

  • Revenue enablement and go-to-market training

  • Learning operations and governance

  • Instructional design frameworks

  • AI integration for learning and enablement

How does fractional L&D support business outcomes, not just training?

Our work is tied to measurable business impact, not check-the-box training. That means shorter ramp times, higher retention, increased sales productivity, improved compliance, and streamlined operations. Learning isn’t the goal; business results are.

Do you create training content or deliver workshops?

Yes. We offer short-term, project-based learning engagements where we design custom experiences built around your needs and challenges. Whether that’s elearning, live training, or workshops delivered in the format and length that works best for your team.

How do you integrate AI into L&E programs?

We combine deep human expertise with AI-powered tools to accelerate design, streamline operations, and make learning more effective. From content modernization to automated workflows, AI helps us deliver faster, smarter solutions. We are always grounded in strategy, not hype.

How quickly can you make an impact?

Most clients see results within weeks. We typically start with discovery and system mapping, then deliver an action plan that aligns to your business goals. From there, we iterate and optimize: creating visible, measurable improvements in a matter of months.

What engagement models do you offer?

We offer three ways to work with us:

  • Fractional Partnership – ongoing, strategic support as your plug-in L&D team.

  • Targeted Projects – short-term initiatives like onboarding redesign or AI integration.

  • Advisory Sessions – quick, focused consults for clarity and next steps.

How flexible is the engagement? Can we scale up or down?

Yes. Our model is intentionally flexible. We provide monthly support with no long-term lock-in. You can scale the partnership up during high-priority initiatives or scale down when steady-state operations are in place.

What’s the difference between training and Revenue Enablement?

Training teaches skills. Revenue enablement creates the systems, tools, and ongoing coaching that help teams apply those skills in the field. We design both, so your people not only learn, but perform.

What’s your typical engagement timeline?

It depends on how you engage with us:

  • Fractional Partnership – subscription-style support, typically month-to-month with no long-term lock-in. Many clients stay with us as their ongoing plug-in L&D team.

  • Targeted Projects – most projects begin with a 2–4 week discovery and design sprint, followed by implementation and optimization over 2–3 months.

  • Advisory Sessions – one-time or occasional consults, designed as quick, focused sounding-board conversations.

All models are designed to flex with your pace, priorities, and stage of growth.

Do you deliver training virtually or on-site?

We do both. Most of our work is delivered virtually, but we also run in-person or hybrid sessions when that’s the best fit. Workshops can range from a few hours to multi-day programs, depending on your goals.
